And these mistakes regularly destroy marriages.
One of the things that rarely gets discussed before a couple marries is what it really takes to make a marriage work. Sure you hear things about communication, but when you’re incredibly in love that comes naturally. And so it’s oh so simple to assume that you don’t need to work on communicating with your beloved.
But as important as communication is I don’t think it begins to touch the surface of what it really takes to make a marriage work. That’s one of the reasons I made this video – to give you a visual of what it takes to create a good marriage.
The other reason I made this month’s video is to share with you two of the common ways that couples unknowingly undermine their marriages. Sometimes having someone articulate the problem enables you to fix your relationship. Other times, it causes you to wonder if your marriage can be fixed.
